Last Friday was the much anticipated Joey Fatts & Aston Mathews show at the Los Globos theatre in Los Angeles. The crowds enthusiasm for the spectacle was unmatched. The atmosphere in the venue was very intimate, allowing everyone in the crowd to get up close and personal with the artists. The likes of Vince Staples, Mike G and even Asap Rocky ended up catching the entire house by surprise, exhilarating the chaos to a new levels.

Gram Up

The Bixby Park (aka Cherry Park) homies are back at it. They’ve managed to put together a video clip compilation inspired by The Berrics’ “Gram yo Selfie” YouTube series. This one in particular puts the spotlight on familiar Long Beach skaters Mikhail Meyers, Edwin Noris, Chris Barnes, Mason Malone, Anthony Macneal, and Boo Johnson. It’s been a while since we last heard from Huey Briss. The North Long Beach rapper has apparently been in the studio cooking up his new project, Ash Lightly. He brings us 5 pristine tracks with the help of producers like Hance, XR, and EDUB. One of them being “Labyrinth,” the first single and music video off this mixtape.
